Fabio Banegas, classical pianist.

Classical pianist, researcher and music editor, Fabio Banegas has dedicated his career to preserve the music of unjustly neglected composers from his native Argentina, among them: José Antonio Bottiroli, Nicolás Alfredo Alessio, Eduardo Grau and Jacobo Ficher.  He has recorded for Grand Piano, the specialist piano label distributed by Naxos Records, Guild Music of the United Kingdom and Naxos Records.  As a soloist he has performed with the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine, the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra of Budapest, the San Martin Symphony Orchestra of Argentina, the Claremont Symphony and the Fullerton Symphony in the Untied States.   A recipient of numerous awards in Argentina and the United States, Fabio Banegas earned academic degrees in music at the National University of Rosario (UNR), Argentina and at California State University Fullerton (CSUF) and he has concertized in Argentina, the United State and Europe.  As a music editor he has published for Golden River Music and Euprint.  Additionally, he studied journalism at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and he has appeared as a pianist in several Hollywood film productions.
