Fabio Banegas, a grandson a Czceh immigrant to Argentina, pays tribute to the legacy of European composers who immigrated to Argentina in the early 20th century. Eduardo Grau, a protégé of Manuel De Falla, was born in Barcelona, Spain and moved to Argentina as a child where he composed most of his music with a distinct Spanish influence. Banegas is currently preparing the recording of three concertos for multiple soloists by Grau with Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra of Budapest, Hungry. The recording, which will feature soloists from Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain. Hungry and the United States under the artistic direction of Argentine conductor Francisco Varela will be released by Naxos Music Group in 2022.
